LACOCK’S prize pooches will go on show on Sunday to raise much-needed funds for disabled children.

The Lacock Group of Riding for the Disabled is holding its annual equine boot sale, which this year will include a novelty dog show.

The festivities will also include a bouncy castle, a charity raffle and riding demonstrations by local dressage rider Claire Lilley.

Suzie Loftin, owner of the Lacock Riding Centre, said: “Traders have been very generous in donating some amazing raffle prizes and we will have a wide variety of craft stalls from cupcakes to novelty gifts and jewellery.

“We hope that lots of dogs and their owners will come along to join in the fun; with classes like ‘the most ear- risistible’ and ‘the swiftest sausage sleuth’ there is something for everyone.”

The fundraiser runs from 9.30am to 1.30pm at Lacock Riding Centre on Bewley Lane, with money raised going to the charity, which provides riding lessons for disabled children.

Entry is £1, with the dog show starting at 1.30pm. For details, call 07595 665632.
