Cars collide at Box Fiveways

Two vehicles were involved in a crash which blocked a road near Box Fiveways this morning (Thursday).
The Honda and Skoda vehicles crashed shortly before 8am, on the Atworth side of the junction, on the A365.
Members of the public initially provided first aid and directed traffic at the scene, before police and an ambulance arrived.
One man was reported as complaining of chest pain, and another casuality is believed to have minor injuries to their legs.
Both drivers were taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath as a precaution.
The road was closed while the emergency services dealt with the incident, but the route is now fully open to traffic.
