As the winter rapidly approaches, the Pound Arts in Corsham has organised a festival celebrating magic, music, film and theatre for locals to enjoy.

The second Magic and Mayhem Festival, which will take place at the Pound Arts centre and Springfield Community Campus in mid-November, includes household names such as comedians Jenny Eclair and Lou Sanders and award winning singer and Radio 2 presenter Clare Teal.

Charity Colborne, Marketing Coordinator at Pound Arts, said: "We’re thrilled to announce this year’s Magic and Mayhem Festival. Following last year’s success, we are delighted to be bringing mischief to Corsham once more. As the dark nights draw in, come and join us for laughter, tricks, music and glamour in venues across Corsham for what will be a very special weekend."

Although last year's sell-out Mayhem Cabaret show will return, the festival also features a number of new additions including a vintage tea dance and magician Paul Zenon.

Starting on November 16 at 7.30pm with a live screening of The Alan Bennet Diaries, the Magic and Mayhem Festival will go on to host mind reader Doug Segal, a screening of the 1925 classic The Phantom of the Opera before ending with Jenny Eclair's How to be a Middle Aged Woman show at Springfield at 8pm on November 20.
