TWO CARS in Corsham had their windows smashed with a brick whilst parked in Park Lane this weekend.
Police are appealing for witnesses after receiving a call from a member of the public at 7am on Monday who said the cars had either had their rear windscreen or windows smashed with a brick.
PCSO Nicole Yates, based at Corsham police station, said: “This appears to be an act of mindless vandalism, with no attempts made to steal anything from the cars.
“We have been conducting house to house enquiries in the area and are looking into whether there is any CCTV footage of the incident.
“I would appeal to anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area overnight between 7.30pm on Sunday, July 3, and 7am on Monday, July 4, to come forward.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact PCSO Yates on 101. Alternatively they can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
