A CO-OP store in Corsham was burgled in the early hours of this morning (April 29), smashing the front window in the process.
Just after 4am the Co-op, of Martingate, the front window of the store was smashed and cigarette machines inside were targeted.
Police received a call at 4.13am after an alarm was activated at the store and it is believed a dark coloured saloon type vehicle with three males inside was involved in the burglary.
The men were all wearing black clothing.
A spokesman for the Co-op said: “I can confirm that a burglary took place at our store in the early hours of this morning (Friday).
"The police are investigating, and, as with any incident such as this, we would appeal for anyone with any information to come forward.”
Anyone who heard or saw any suspicious activity in the area should call police on 101.
