A CORSHAM woman in her thirties was sexually assaulted at the Odeon cinema in Bath and police are now appealing for witnesses.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who went to the 10.30pm showing of the film Hitman: Agent 47 on Saturday, August 29.

It is believed that approximately 14 people attended the screening.

The victim is being provided support from specialist Sexual Offence Liaison Officers.

DC Helen Wallen said: “We have made a number of enquiries since this offence was reported to us and an arrest has been made but we do now need to hear from those who were in the cinema at this time as they may have information which could assist our investigation."

Anyone who was in the cinema or who has information is asked to contact Detective Constable Helen Wallen or Detective Sergeant Simon Childe at Melksham CID on 101.
