CORSHAM-based business Recruit for Spouses has teamed up with Wiltshire Council to help widen opportunities for military partners in the county.

The aim of the new partnership is to help employers identify the resources of the military community by highlighting job opportunities which are best suited to the partners of service personnel.

Wiltshire Council leader Jane Scott said: “We are proud of our military connections here in Wiltshire and we are looking forward to many more service personnel and their families making their home in the county over the coming years as part of the Army Basing Programme.

“This partnership with Recruit for Spouses means military partners will be able to see the many opportunities and benefits which are available working at Wiltshire Council. This will be mutually beneficial as we can offer fulfilling careers while we have access to a workforce with many different skills.”

Recruit for Spouses will be highlighting careers with Wiltshire Council on a local, national and international level including families in Germany, many of whom will be moving to Wiltshire as part of the Army Basing Programme.

Founder and CEO of Recruit for Spouses Heledd Kendrick said: “Military families often have to make a lot of sacrifices so we work hard to seek employers who support these families and Wiltshire Council are ideally positioned with so many bases in the Wiltshire area.”
