Police have launched an investigation following an arson attack which took place in Corsham earlier this month.
On July 9, at approximately 8.15pm, a fire was started at the garages to the rear of Oliver Avenue.
As a result of the fire, extensive damage was caused to the hedgerow at the rear of residential properties in the area.
PC Steve Lax said: "This was a reckless act which could have had extremely serious consequences.
"I would therefore like to hear from anybody who was in the area at the time, who saw or heard anybody acting in a suspicious manner.
"Anyone with any information about this incident should call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously."
