FORMER Corsham School pupil and blogging sensation, Zoe Sugg, has had a sneak peek at what her Madame Tussauds waxwork figure is going to look like.

Yesterday, she came face-to-face with a clay sculpture of her head, which has been painstakingly measured to make her waxwork double look as life-like as possible.

The 25-year-old’s boyfriend Alfie Deyes, who also has millions of subscribers on his YouTube channel, is having a figure created as well and the pair had some fun trying their hands at putting some finishing touches to the clay work.

The clays are going to be used to make the wax moulds for their figures, which will be unveiled later this year.

Miss Sugg, formerly of Lacock, will be joining the likes of boy band One Direction and actress Angelina Jolie at the museum, which has chosen to create a wax figure of the online blogger to ‘reflect the popularity of this new genre of celebrity’.

The figures will be featured in a special YouTube area at Madame Tussauds London, portrayed as their fans are used to seeing them, lounging on their bed in their spare bedroom uploading content to their massively popular channels.

Both Miss Sugg and Mr Deyes were amazed with the progress so far, commenting: “It’s so exciting to see the clay sculptures – we can’t wait to meet our finished wax doubles.”
