A Corsham windband has performed at an international concert in Strasbourg, France.
The 42 members of the Youth Concert Band from the Corsham Windband Association performed a medley of songs from Skyfall, Les Miserables and Mambo No 5 in front of an audience of nearly 600 people.
They were invited by L’Harmonie Schiltigheim, a windband based in Schiltigheim, Strasbourg.
The band was also given a tour of the Council of Europe and gave a performance in the atrium.
Chairman Martin Edmundson said: “They all really enjoyed the visit. Their performances were very good and they have all benefitted from the musical experience.”
Anyone who plays an instrument or wants to learn can visit the Windband Association at the Pound Arts Centre on Saturday mornings.
