Benches at Corsham's war memorial as part of the town’s First World War commemorations.
The two wooden ones at the memorial, on the junction of Lacock Road, Pickwick Road and Pound Pill, will be used elsewhere and metal benches with silhouettes of soldiers and poppies will be installed.
It is hoped they will be in place by Remembrance Sunday.
David Clark, Corsham Town Council chief executive, said: “The new benches will look really in keeping with the area.”
