A new residential estate could soon be built south of Corsham, after plans for 64 new homes off Potley Road were submitted to Wiltshire Council.
The 2.99 hectare site surrounds Potley House, and borders the Leafield Industrial Estate.
It would include mostly two but some two-and-a-half storey homes, with up to 30 per cent designated for affordable housing.
The site will also include a children’s play area.
Plans for the development will now be considered by Corsham Town Council, before Wiltshire Council’s planning department decide whether to grant planning permission.
