Chippenham band make donation of note

In the run-up to Christmas festive music was played by Chippenham Town Band at Morrisons stores to raise funds for the band and Alzheimer’s Society.
Due to the generosity of customers the total raised was £722.52.
A cheque for £361.26 was presented by Alan Horner, bandmaster, to Adrian Jones, area fund raising manager at a recent Singing For The Brain session in Chippenham.
The funds go towards the Alzheimer’s Society providing carer support, Singing for the Brain and the Memory Cafe, all of which benefit those diagnosed with dementia.
