By Alex Winter

Officers are appealing for information after items of jewellery were taken from a Chippenham home.

It is believed entry was gained to a house in Greenway Park through a living room window.

Items were then taken including three women's bracelets, an opal pendant, men's and woman’s Omega watches and a white gold necklace.

The incident happened at some time over the weekend of Friday, December 16, and Monday, December 19, 2011.

Officers are appealing for people who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in or around the area over that weekend to get in touch.

They are also keen to hear from anyone who may have been offered any of the items detailed.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact DC Dave Hunt of the Priority Crime Team in Melksham on 101.

Alternatively call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
