Conmen strike in village

Three bogus callers, pretending to be from Westlea Housing Association, gained entry into the home of an elderly man in Coronation Close, Christian Malford, near Chippenham yesterday around 5.45pm.
They told the pensioner there were problems with water in the area and they needed to check his pipes. It is not known if anything was stolen.
