Chippenham teen on underage sex charge

A teenager accused of having sex with an underage girl has appeared before a judge.

Daniel Latham faces three allegations of sexual activity with a child relating to a 15-year-old girl.

It is said that the 18-year-old carried out the three sexual offences on the girl on Sunday June 29.

No charges were put to Latham, of Chevral Close, Chippenham, during the brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court on Friday and he did not enter any pleas.

Latham was released on bail on condition he does not have contact with the complainant and the case was adjourned to Friday February 20 when he is due to enter his pleas.
