THE Chippenham community gathered for an evening of live music and spoken word last week to raise money for Kyle Roe’s hospital fundraiser.
The event, which was hosted at the Constitutional Club on December 4, helped raised more than £350 for Morriston Hospital in Swansea, where the 19-year-old is being treated for burns.
“It was such an uplifting evening,” Ed Deedigan, director of Kandu Arts, said. “There were so many people from the local community in the audience and the club really got behind us to provide a raffle at such short notice and all the artists young and old were fantastic.
“It is really good to be part of such a lovely community and I hope that the good vibes and the money will make some difference.
“I hope that the family know they are not alone and that the people of Chippenham are behind them every step of the way.”
Kandu Arts also wanted to thank the artists, the Constitutional Club, George and Howard Davies, James North, Digiprint for their help.
