PLANS to build a KFC drive-thru and Costa drive-thru on the outskirts of Chippenham were given full support by the town council.
Councillors agreed at the town council planning meeting on Thursday to unanimously support the development, which would be built opposite McDonalds on the edge of the A350 and A4.
"Like the Lidl's application, it would be good to see a traffic and lighting management plan," committee chair Councillor Peter Hutton said. "I think it would also be good if they could work alongside Mcdonalds to tackle waste and include links to extend the footpaths in regard to pedestrian and cyclist safety."
Customers would have to access the site from the A350 West Cepen Way and leave via the A4.
