VISITORS to Chippenham this weekend will be able to get behind the scenes tours of some of Chippenham's most intriguing and celebrated buildings.
As part of the Heritage Open Days, the town's historic buildings will be opening their doors to the public and walks and tours will be organised for those daring enough to brave the wet weather.
Chippenham Museum curator Melissa Barnett said: "There really is something for everyone.
"Chippenham Town Council’s historic buildings join an exciting line-up of sites opening their doors with London Road Cemetery and Chapel, Chippenham Museum and the Neeld and Town Hall all taking part.
"We will also be celebrating some of the modern architecture of the town with a walk led by local architect Jack Konynenburg and remember Chippenham’s lost buildings with a walk and talk by the Museum’s Collections Officer Alan Fuller.”
All events are free but booking is recomennded for a number of walks and tours. For more information or to book call 01249 705020.
