A MAN who was found with thousands of pounds worth of ecstasy and cocaine he had bought for a stag weekend has been ordered to forfeit £1,330.12.

Ryan Nicholls was spared jail in July after admitting he had the hard drugs to share with about 15 mates as they celebrated a pal's upcoming nuptials.

The 32-year-old was hauled back before the court so the cash seized by police when they raided his Chippenham home could be confiscated.

The keen sportsman and body builder's housemate Daniel Payne, 28, will also have to have over the £50 he had when the pair were arrested in a dawn raid.

Judge Robert Pawson, sitting at Swindon Crown Court, made confiscation orders under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

He also adjusted the hours of Nicholls' five-month curfew, meaning he does not have to be in until 9pm instead of the initial 6pm and can go into the garden to smoke.

The two men were arrested in a dawn raid on their home in Derriads Green, Chippenham, on November 11, 2015.

Nicholls had thousands of pounds worth of ecstasy and cocaine with a street value of about £600.

Payne was found to have more than £3,000 worth of cocaine and a small amount of cannabis, as well as a set of scales.

While Nicholls, who is now living in Frome, got a suspended sentence Payne, formerly of Calne but now of Stoneleigh Close, Chippenham, was jailed for four years.
