A PHARMACEUTICAL company in the heart of Chippenham celebrated their rapid transformation into an international player after they revealed their new £400,000 headquarters last week.

Former Skeleton racer and Olympic gold medallist Amy Williams joined staff at Alliance Pharmaceutical in Bath Road last Friday to reveal the shiny new refurbishment much to joy of chief operating officer Pete Butterfield.

He said: "We started the refurbishment in the first quarter of this year and we have really turned it into a fantastic working environment for everyone. As a company we have really transformed from just being a UK business to an international business over the last two years so now we have a headquarters that really reflects that.

"We made a big transaction with Sinclair back in 2015 and I really think that helped launch us onto the market and we had a little European footprint but now we have offices all over Europe and the Far East.

"This idea of our transformation is also one of the main reasons we had Amy Williams at the opening because she was able to transform her career from a sprinter to a skeleton athlete as well as being a local celebrity from Bath."

The company, which turns over approximately £100m every year, will now focus on the future of their company and prepare for new acquisitions and product launches.
