INFORMATION is being sought by police after a man was caught acting suspiciously in a public toilet block in Chippenham.

Police received reports of a man acting suspiciously in the toilets behind the tea rooms in Monkton Park at 3.45pm on Wednesday (May 31), before he left and headed towards the bridge.

He had stubble on his face, dark eyes and was wearing a white t-shirt, dark trousers and was carrying a white Superdry shoulder bag.

PCSO Pete Collins said: “We'd like to hear from anyone who may have seen this man in the area, or anyone who may know who he is from the description we have received.

“We have received ongoing reports of anti-social behaviour in this area and will be increasing patrols around the Monkton Park area in a bid to stamp this out.”

Anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
