ACCOUNTANCY firm Mander Duffill has been named the most creative fundraising team for The Prince's Trust.

The Chippenham-based company took part in fundraising throughout 2016 as part of the trust's Million Makers competition and received its award at the south west finals in Bristol last Wednesday.

The award, which was presented by Mrs Susan Davies, the Deputy Lieutenant of Bristol; recognised the creativity of the team in their fundraising efforts, especially as the competition were large national and multi-national companies.

The team raised more than £10,000, the majority of which was from a golf day and gala dinner, with contributions from sponsored office activities and a festive Christmas quiz. This money will support young people like Chloe, who gave her account of how The Prince's Trust changed her life for the better at the event. The evening celebrations finished with all of the successful fundraising teams participating in a Samba band workshop.

Julian Duffill, managing partner at Mander Duffill said: "We are delighted to be able to help young people turn their lives around with the money we have raised for The Princes Trust."
