CHIPPENHAM will once again welcome the internationally acclaimed Treorchy Male Choir when they perform in the town next month for the first time in more than ten years.

The choir last performed in the town back in 2006 and will perform on February 18 in St Andrew’s Church in aid of the newly-formed Chippenham Men's Shed group.

The group meet every Tuesday afternoon in the Sea Cadets premises on Long Close which allows members to share the tools and resources they need to work on projects of their own choosing at their own pace and in a safe, friendly and inclusive venue.

With more than ninety albums to their name, the Treorchy Male Choir are one of the most recorded male voice choirs in history, having performed with the likes of Tom Jones, Ella Fitzgerald, Julie Andrews, Burt Bacharach and Shirley Bassey.
