FIRE crews from five stations across Wiltshire battled a blaze in machinery at a factory in Chippenham last night.
It is understood that the fire was caused by a roof collapsing following heavy rain. Firefighters from Chippenham, Corsham, Melksham and Devizes along with an aerial appliance from Swindon were called into action in Foundry Lane at 10.15pm on Saturday night.
The blaze was put out by crews wearing breathing apparatus and using main jets and hose reel jets. An on site sprinkler system also went into action.
Firefighters used a thermal image camera to check for hots spots.
