FUEL thefts are continuing to take place in Chippenham a week after almost £500 was stolen in five separate incidents across the town.
The two most recent so-called bilkings both took place at the Esso station on Bath Road, with the first crime taking place on Thursday at 11am.
The driver of a silver Audi A3 stole £54.87 and on Saturday £54.91 was stolen by the driver of a blue BMW Sport 316i at 12.41pm.
A spate of fuel thefts are being investigated by police, with the most serious occurring on July 28 when the driver of a silver Vauxhall Astra stole £256 in diesel from the BP Services in West Cepen Way.
Anyone with information on these incidents should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
