CHIPPENHAM’S Emery Gate Shopping Centre welcomed a new trader last week, as national homeware retailer Julian Charles opened its doors.
Founded 65 years ago in Bury, Lancashire, Julian Charles specialises in home furnishings from curtains and cushions to bedding and towels.
Julian Charles visual merchandising manager, Marcus Whitmore, said: “We have worked tirelessly to create a stunning, bright and welcoming store to Emery Gate Shopping Centre.
“During the shop-fitting prior to opening, excited customers have already tried to come in and purchase items for their home.
“We expect the store to be a huge success.”
The store opened last Saturday (April 23) in the 70,000 square-foot Emery Gate Shopping Centre which is found just off Emery Lane and is managed by property company Eagle One.
David Corp, Eagle One retail property manager, said: “Attracting exciting new retailers of the calibre of Julian Charles to Chippenham is great news for the town.
“We are delighted Julian Charles has decided to open a new store with us and wish them every success.”
