AFTER months of rehearsals, a group of young performers from Chippenham and Melksham have showcased their talents at Disneyland in Paris.

Pupils from Stagecoach Chippenham and Melksham, based at Abbeyfield and Shaw schools respectively, enjoyed two days of workshops and parades in France earlier this summer.

The music and dance pupils then performed on stage at the Cinemagic Theatre and took part in the pre-parade in front of the Castle to open Disney on the Saturday morning singing two Frozen songs with Elsa and Anna.

The performance came after several months of learning and rehearsing for the children, including practice performances at The Scarecrow Festival at Kington Langley and many local school fetes.

Principal Natalie Collins said: "I am extremely proud of what the children have achieved and would like to say a big thank you to all the children and the parents who supported them in this adventure.

"They are all young aspiring superstars and they should be congratulated for a fantastic job that they have done."

Stagecoach Melksham and Chippenham run term-time classes on a Thursday after school and Sunday mornings teaching from age four up to 18. For more information contact Natalie on 07861391598 or go to www.stagecoach.co.uk/melksham
