A PUBLIC exhibition is to be held in Chippenham next month about plans for a 60-acre solar farm on Chiverlins Farm.
Lincolnshire-based Lark Energy is looking to develop the site on land west of the A350.
The aim of the solar farm is to produce clean, renewable energy for the local electricity grid providing enough power for approximately 3,300 homes.
The exhibition is being held as part of an informal public consultation for the proposed development to provide Lark Energy with an opportunity to talk to people about the plans and gather feedback.
Further details of the plans will be available at the public exhibition at Chippenham Rugby Club on June 2 from 3pm until 7pm.
For more information, or if you are unable to make the consultation but would like to meet and discuss the proposals contact Matthew Desorgher on 07802 540985, 01529 497771 or email: matthew@nattermatters.com
Lark Energy has said following this informal public consultation it plans to submit a full planning application.
