Thief tried to steal woman's mobile

A 40-year-old woman was the victim of an attempted robbery in Chippenham on Wednesday.
At around 8.10pm a man approached her at the junction of Bath Road Industrial Estate and Bath Road in Chippenham.
The man, wearing a black hood and black trousers tried to steal her mobile phone but failed. He fled down Hungerdown Lane.
No property was taken and no-one was hurt in the incident.
