Springboarde Opportunity Group in Chippenham scooped an award at the Nursery World awards ceremony.
It came up trumps in the Team Development category, one of just five nurseries in the country to have been shortlisted.
The pre-school in Pewsham, for children with disabilities, was joint winner with a nursery in Lancashire.
Six of the 11 members of staff, plus two Friends of Springboard, made their way in a limousine to the ceremony at The Brewery in London last Saturday.
Manager Jane Boulton said: “It was lovely to win.It is an award for everybody at the nursery. A good team has lots of different skills.”
Judges said the specialist preschool takes a whole-team approach to staff development, with all staff, including volunteers, relaying what they have learned to the rest of the team after training. Mrs Boulton said this was “priceless” and “contributes greatly to job satisfaction”.
Springboard are looking for an auctioneer and auction prizes for a 007 evening at Chippenham Sports Club on November 8.
