The clock will go back 100 years in Castle Combe on Saturday at a special wartime concert in the church.
Bath-based musician Grenville Jones will direct a programme of singing and music based on the early years of the First World War.
Mr Jones said: “I will be bringing a choir of 20 voices drawn from singers in my choirs. The programme will include not only choral items of that time but also songs from the Music Hall that were very much part of that era and the early 1900s.
“There will also be a chance for everyone to join in with those popular First World War songs that kept communities together at home and on the front lines.”
There will also be war poems read by Brian McGee, head of sixth form at Beechen Cliff School in Bath.
Castle Combe was used as a location three years ago for Stephen Spielberg’s First World War film War Horse.
