A man is to face trial by jury after pleading not guilty to possessing cannabis resin with intent to supply.
Christian Burdell also denied acquiring, using or possessing criminal property when he appeared before a judge at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.
The 23-year-old admitted simple possession of the drugs but denied the more serious allegation of having them to supply to others.
The charge referring to criminal property relates to him having money which it is alleged he knew or suspected constituted the benefit from criminal conduct.
Both alleged offences are said to have taken place on Wednesday July 15 last year.
Burdell, of London Road, Calne, was released on unconditional bail to Wednesday April 7 when he is due to face trial before a judge and jury.
