Hundreds of motor enthusiasts are expected to turn out to celebrate 50 years of the Mini at the Atwell Wilson Motor Museum’s annual classic vehicle show on Sunday.
More than 350 classic vehicles will be on display on the classic vehicle showground and inside the museum in Stockley Lane near Calne, including Rolls Royces and Cadillacs as well as motorbikes and tractors.
Organiser Derek Warnett said: “We are all really looking forward to the show.
“It is a big fundraising event for the museum and it is good fun.
“We already have 150 vehicles in the museum going back to the early 1900s and there will be hundreds more outside.”
More than 200 people have already confirmed they will be attending the show to display their classic cars, with one couple travelling from Australia for the event.
Mr Warnett said: “We will have a tremendous cross section of vehicles from over the years on display.
“We will also have the Calne Silver Band playing on the site from 1pm, our tea rooms will be open and there is a play park for children so there is something for everyone.”
The show opens at 10am and closes at 4.30pm with entry costing £5 for adults and £1 for children.
