A CLASSIC car and motorcycle show is coming to Bowood this spring and summer.

The Bowood Spring Classic Car and Motorcycle Show is taking place on Sunday, May 6, and the Bowood Summer Classic Car and Motorcycle Show on Sunday, August, 12.

It will offer a day of motoring heritage ideal for enthusiasts, day trippers and families, featuring a display of vintage, classic and modern vehicles. It will also include a variety of club stands, sports and convertibles, kit, custom and replica, and American vehicles.

Both events will feature a full vehicle concours overseen by leading commentator and vehicle expert Les Clayton.

Director of Classic Shows, Matthew Harvey, said: “We are delighted to announce the launch of two new classic vehicle events taking place at Bowood House in 2018 - the Bowood Spring and Summer Classic Car and Motorcycle Shows taking place on Sunday 6 May and Sunday 12 August. Bowood is a stunning venue and offers an ideal home for our classic vehicle event format being located on the lawns in front of Bowood House and beside the lake.

"Both events are ideal for the vehicle enthusiast, day trippers and families and visitor pricing for both events has been held at the standard Bowood rates which also includes access to the entire Bowood grounds, gardens and house. We look forward to receiving bookings from vehicle exhibitors and local traders and working towards building both events into some of the largest classic vehicle events in the region”.

Admission to the event is priced at the standard Bowood admission price and also includes full access to Bowood House, grounds and gardens.
