POLICE are appealing for information following a report of a disorder involving a group of men in Calne.

Officers were called to Abberd Way at approximately 12.45pm yesterday (Sunday, January 7) and carried out an area search into the Porte Marsh Industrial Estate following reports that those involved had headed in that direction.

Three local men, aged 25, 36 and 62 have been arrested on suspicion of affray and have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

DC Keith Harford, said: "One of the men involved in this incident sustained facial injuries which required treatment at Royal United Hospital in Bath.

"While three arrests have been made, we are continuing with enquiries and would ask for any witnesses to the incident to contact police.

"Were you in Abberd Way at the time or were you passing through the area yesterday [Sunday] afternoon?
