MINISTRY of Sound will be joining Classic Ibiza on their return to Bowood next August.

This year’s event was declared a smash hit, and next year’s concert is expected to be bigger and better with the involvement of the dance pioneers of music, Ministry of Sound.

Back in August, some of the biggest dance tracks from the last 20 years were brought to life by Revival Productions, The Urban Soul Orchestra and DJ Goldierocks at Lord Lansdowne’s estate.

Lisa Ward of Revival Productions said: “There’s something really special about the combination of the beautiful Bowood setting and music that gets absolutely everyone on their feet – the crowd absolutely love it!

“Classic Ibiza 2018 will be very much along the same lines with the Urban Soul Orchestra fronted again by super-talented vocalists. These guys are at the top of their game and we’re delighted to have them all on board again for 2018.”

The evening will begin with a chill-out set where people can enjoy their picnics and have a drink, or dance along as the sun sets.

A live DJ will turn things up in the interval getting the crowd in the mood before Urban Soul Orchestra and vocalists return to the stage to turn things up a notch.

Stephen Hussey, founder and conductor of USO said: “The Classic Ibiza formula works so well because it is something new and different that appeals to so many people: Ibiza dance tunes meet classical orchestra; stunning stately home meets music festival. Having Ministry of Sound’s involvement turns the dial up to 11!”

It will be returning on Saturday, August 4 next year, and already 500 tickets have been sold.

The concert is expected to sell-out in advance.

A limited number of early bird tickets are still available at a reduced price of £35 (£39.50 thereafter). For full event details and tickets, please visit www.classicibiza.co.uk or call the event box office on 01283841601.

Gates will open at 6pm, you can bring your own picnic, or take advantage of the food outlets onsite, and car parking is free.
