THE Calne in Bloom team are encouraging residents, schools and community gardeners to enter into next year's competition.

The award-winning gardening group, which brings together the Town Council and local conservation groups, hopes to encourage people to join the competition next year and help make the town a greener, cleaner and more beautiful place to live, work and visit.

The group has been awarded the Gold for Calne in the RHS South West in Bloom Competition for the last three years and a regional Youth Achievement Award for the Calne Bowl Project in 2015.

Calne in Bloom co-ordinator Trudy King said: "The awards are a great opportunity to share and celebrate the hard work, creativity and pride that has gone into your own garden, a neighbour’s or a community garden.”

To register your interest, download an entry form from www.calne.gov.uk/Calne-in-Bloom.aspx, pick up a form from Calne Visitor and Community Information Centre or call Calne Town Council on 01249 814000.
