Appeal to youths who may have seen Calne van crash
POLICE are hoping to speak to a group of youths who may have witnessed a silver van crash into a traffic island in Calne.
Officers have arrested the driver of the van, who crashed between 7.50pm and 8.45pm on Sunday, September 18 on New Road, after he reportedly drove round the roundabout the wrong way.
They are hoping to speak to a group of six to eight youths with scooters who were in the area at the time of the collision in relation with what they may have seen.
Anyone with information should contact Wiltshire Police on 101 and quote the crime reference number 54160084755 and ask for the information to be passed on to PC 2495 Swanborough at Chippenham Police.
