CALNE police are warning people to be vigilant after they received a report that a group of men were filming people using a cash machine in the town.
They received a call just after noon on Wednesday (Oct 28) to concerns some men were sat in a car in the car park of Tesco in Harrier Close, who were believed to have been photographing or filming people using the cash machine with a telescopic lens.
Officers went down to investigate but the vehicle had left the location.
They then checked all other cash machines for any suspicious devices.
A police spokesman said: “Be mindful of anyone paying attention to you while using cash machines. Always conceal the keypad when entering your PIN number.
"Please report any suspicious behaviour like this on 101 or 999.”
