A 27-year-old man has been injured near Sandy Lane this morning in the second incident in three days.

Another 27-year-old man, from London, was flown to Southmead Hospital with serious head injuries on Saturday evening.

Police recieved a call around 8.45am this morning from the ambulance service to a collision between a motorised scooter and a white Audi car.

The incident occured at the junction of the A3102 and A342, between Devizes and Chippenham.

The male scooter rider, 27, was treated at the scene for minor injuries by paramedics.

A driver was reported for careless driving and the road was blocked for just over an hour.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said:  "If anyone was travelling along this busy route, at what would have been morning rush hour and saw what happened or can provide any more information, please call us on 101 or if you wish to remain anonymous you can call via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
