TWO men who were involved in a late night ‘free for all’ in a takeaway have been warned they could be jailed.
Craig Reeves, 24, and Levi Waters, 22, both admitted causing actual bodily harm when they appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
And Swindon man Reeves also pleaded guilty to criminal damage after smashing the glass window of The Charcoal Grill in Calne on Sunday, December 21, last year.
Claire Marlow, prosecuting, said only one witness, who described what happened as a ‘free for all’ said she saw the victim being kicked and everyone else spoke of punches.
Recorder Michael Vere-Hodge QC adjourned the case to Friday, May 22, to give the probation service time to compile pre sentence reports.
He told them: “You must understand that the reports will address all sentencing options.
“You should not assume being given bail it is any indication how you would be sentenced in due course.”
He released Reeves, of The Bungalows, Pinehurst, Swindon, and Waters, of George Close, Calne, on bail until then.
