Cherhill will welcome The Galliard Trio to St James’ Church next Saturday, September 27, to help raise funds for the 12th-century church.
Proceeds of the concert, which will feature works from composers Mozart, Handel and Haydn, will go towards maintaining and restoring St James’ in Cherhill.
The Galliard Trio were formed in 1981 and play concerts to support a wide range of charities.
Musicians Andrew Morris (flute and piccolo), Martin White (oboe and cor anglais) and Alex Forshaw (bassoon, harpsichord and piano) perform a broad range of music from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.
The trio, who live in North London, last performed in the Calne area at Compton Bassett church two years ago.
The evening gets under way at 7pm with drinks, with music commencing at 7.30pm.
