Three members of the same family are to face trial by jury accused of carrying out a serious assault on a man last year.

Michael, 51, and Martin Saunders, 24, pleaded not guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent to Peter Gallagher.

And along with 20-year-old Amanda Saunders the pair also denied simple GBH in relation to the alleged attack on Friday, November 29.

Recorder Nicholas Atkinson QC, sitting at Swindon Crown Court on Friday, adjourned the case to Wednesday, March 26, for a two-week trial.

He released Martin and Michael, of Ainsworth Road, Park South, and Amanda, of Labour In Vain Hill, Cherhill, Calne, on conditional bail until then.
