BEAR Grylls will make a special appearance at the 25th anniversary celebration of Wiltshire children and young people’s charity Splash.

The event will be held at Marlborough Town Hall from 6pm to 8.30pm on October 10 hosted by Police Chief Constable Pat Geenty.

There will be guest appearances from Splash patron Bear Grylls and Military Cross recipient Justin Featherstone – both speaking about what has inspired them and the challenges they have overcome.

Miranda Sykes of Show of Hands will play some of her favourite tracks.

Drinks and canapés will be provided by Devizes chef Peter Vaughan, Splash’s most recent patron.

The evening will be capped off with a grand auction.
