Cherhill School’s Sing-Up Choir will be the star attraction at this year’s Cherhill village fete, being held in the Manor Gardens on Saturday.
The choir has performed at London’s O2 Arena as part of the Young Voices choir, and also sang at Calne Town Council’s Spring Sing in April.
The lawns of Manor House will be packed with games, stalls and attractions from 2pm. There will be competitions, children’s races and games, a raffle with great prizes, tombola, plus a host of stalls including crafts, books, honey and jewellery.
Visitors can enjoy refreshments at a licensed bar and barbecue, open all afternoon, as well as tea and cakes, sweets and ice creams.
The festivities start at 1pm and finish at 4pm. Admission is free, with all the money from events and games going to the St James Church restoration fund.
