SCHOOLS across Wiltshire have been packed to the rafters as proud parents, doting grannies and loving aunties have watched small children act out the nativity.
Some schools have stuck to the traditional story complete with angels, wise men, Mary and Joseph while others have gone for a more modern twist.
But whatever the style the results has been the same – not a dry eye in the house.
As our wonderful pictures from around the county show the pupils have taken to their acting roles with aplomb.
Some have made the most of their acting debuts with a seriousness that even the most devout churchgoer would find hard to take exception to while others have giggled and gossiped their way through their production.
While mums have cried into their hankies and dads have vied for the best position with the video recorder every moment has been enjoyed.
And that of course is what Christmas productions are all about.
We hope you enjoy the pictures which have captured the many different scenes.
