A lorry driver was “lucky to escape with minor injuries” after two HGVs collided on a dual carriageway, police said.
A photo showing the crumpled cab of one of the lorries was shared online by Beds, Cambs and Herts Roads Policing Unit, captioned “driver lucky to escape with minor injuries”.
Cambridgeshire Police were called to the two-vehicle crash on the A14 at Godmanchester at 8.22am on Monday.
One driver suffered slight injuries and was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital, near Huntingdon, the force said.
The East of England Ambulance Service said a man, believed to be in his 40s, was treated for minor facial injuries and taken to hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
Police said one lane of the A14 eastbound near junction 24 was closed to deal with the incident, and motorists have been warned to expect delays while the vehicle is recovered.
