A man has died after being found shot and stabbed in a street in north London.
Police have launched a murder investigation after the man, in his 20s, was found with stab wounds and a suspected gunshot wound in South Street, Enfield.
Officers were called to reports of shots fired at around 12.40am on Saturday and the man died at the scene little more than half an hour later.
His next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem examination is yet to take place.
Another man, also in his 20s, was found with stab injuries and was taken to an east London hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating.
“There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.”
