Accident in Marden this morning
 |
| Photo compliment of Chris Mallet |
A school bus collided with a CS electrical van this morning in Marden at around 7:45 am.
Paramedics. ambulance staff and two police cars
attended the accident.
Chris Mallet, who lives nearby commented, "Villagers have been campaigning about the
increase in the volume of traffic and the increased speed vehicles
travel at. Had a horse or one of the many school children been
walking at that spot the whole affair would have been far worse. It's
time something was done about traffic calming in Marden."

I drive through Marden often and have noticed an increase in traffic.
Is this something to do with GPS in cars sending people on the shortest route via small hamlets?
